What began as a festival about rice has now grown into a full food festival that tells the story of how rice, dishes, people, and communities are connected. Here, you taste for real, learn for real, and meet the growers and cooks who bring each meal to life.

At a time when many believe that eating well is expensive and difficult to access, this festival reminds us that good food is often much closer than we think.

Experience more than 60 food vendors: from community kitchens cooking regional dishes with local ingredients, to chefs who thoughtfully highlight Thai produce, to well-loved restaurants creating exclusive dishes for this event using rare Thai rice varieties that few have encountered.

The festival offers both flavor and knowledge:

• TasteLab Curry Bar: understand rice varieties through everyday dishes

• Eat Direction Live: practical conversations about choosing and cooking food at home

• Home Cooking Workshops: learn how to eat well without spending more

• Sato Pavilion: explore Thailand’s fermentation culture and craft

• Food & Goods Mart: carefully selected ingredients and products to take home

Beyond the dining experience, the festival supports a more sustainable food system through Rice Matching, which connects safe-rice farmers with restaurants for long-term collaboration. The event concludes with Farmer of the Year, honoring pioneering farmers who are shaping the future of Thai rice.

This is not just a food festival. It is a moment to reflect on where the rice on our plate comes from, and how we can help build a better food system, beginning from our own meal.
